Our client is a NYC- based multi-billion-dollar real estate private equity fund that invests directly in real estate operating companies, not individual or portfolios of properties. The fund also takes GP stakes in real estate investment managers. They plan to add an Associate to their investment team with 2-4 years of experience from a top tier investment bank focused on Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging, Leisure, M&A, Leveraged Finance, Consumer, Telecom, or Industrials. They will also consider a combination of investment banking and buy side experience with up to 4 years of total work experience. This role requires deep due diligence ability and strong corporate finance and fundamental analytical skills including building three statement operating and LBO/M&A models from scratch. Candidates must have a strong interest in real estate. This is a career track role for humble team-oriented individuals with a strong work ethic. No MBA’s please.
