As a Business Analyst on our team, you will play a key role in analyzing, defining, and documenting business requirements to deliver valuable software applications that meet the needs of stakeholders. This is a collaborative role where you will work closely with stakeholders and product teams to ensure the success of each project.
What You'll Do:
- Gather and clarify business and functional requirements by conducting interviews and workshops with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product teams to break down large epic stories into smaller, manageable features and user stories.
- Work closely with the agile team throughout product development, testing, and implementation to ensure requirements are clearly understood.
- Support the Product Owner with backlog prioritization, feature sequencing, and user acceptance testing.
- Build trust and strong relationships with both technical and non-technical team members.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking someone who is eager to learn, open to new ideas, and passionate about delivering quality solutions for both new and existing projects. This role requires an individual who is energetic, organized, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
- 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis, including gathering requirements for software development, creating user stories, and product backlog grooming.
- 2+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst in an agile environment, with a strong agile mindset and familiarity with the Scrum process and the role of a Product Owner.
- Experience with Jira or similar tools.
- Scrum certification (CSM or CSPO) is preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Location and Other Requirements:
- This position is remote, but candidates must be located within commuting distance of Tampa, as occasional visits to the office may be required.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (no subcontracts or visa sponsorship).
