Law firm seeks skilled and motivated  Commercial Litigation Attorney to join a dynamic legal team in New Orleans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation, including experience handling complex business disputes, contract issues, and corporate matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation attorney to work with high-profile clients in various industries and be part of a forward-thinking legal practice.

Responsibilities include:

• Represent clients in commercial litigation matters in both state and federal courts.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Develop case strategies, conduct legal research, and advise clients on potential risks and outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements, draft and review legal documents, and handle motion practice.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to develop comprehensive legal strategies.
• Attend court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Maintain regular client communication and manage client expectations.
• Stay up to date on applicable laws, regulations, and industry trends that affect commercial disputes.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership and good standing with the Louisiana Bar.
• 3+ years of litigation experience.
• Strong understanding of Louisiana state and federal civil procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
• Proven track record of handling complex business and commercial disputes.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple cases, and collaborate within a team setting.
