⚠️ WE ARE HIRING FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2026! LATE AUGUST/EARLY SEPTEMBER START! ⚠️

Candidates who currently work for the Department of Education unfortunately cannot be hired due to a conflict of interest. However, if you have previously worked with the DOE, you may still be eligible.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (5 hours per day - Varies by school) Please keep in mind that we are looking for a long term education specialist. If hired, you will be making a commitment until at least June 2026. This is not a temporary position.

We are looking for subject tutoring and Regents Prep tutoring. Candidate must have experience taking regents or tutoring regents. Specifically, candidate must understanding High School level General Studies (ELA, Math, History, or Science).

Road 2 Graduation provides academic handholding support to students in jeopardy of not graduating. You will be working alongside the student support advocate to support scholars in completing all required work for the school semester/year.

Responsibilities:

o Prepare plans to help scholars stay on track of their work.

o Assisting scholars with regents prep and implementing new test-taking strategies.

o Assist scholars with completing credit recovery courses such as Apex.

o Follow up with classroom teachers to ensure scholars have completed school work.

Please only apply if you meet the following requirements:

Must have at least a High School Diploma.
Spanish/Bilingual REQUIRED.
Experience in tutoring, working with students, and familiarity with Google Classroom.
Must be proficient in high school subjects: Math, English, Science, and History (General Studies).
Must be able to pass our assessment. This ensures that our students are well-equipped to pass their Regents exams.
Must be located in NYC and able to travel to assigned school.
Job Type: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00-35.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

Expected Schedule: Monday to Friday (No Weekends) 25 - 30 per week
