InfraHire is looking for a Bookkeeper in Mills, Wyoming.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will manage essential bookkeeping functions, including payroll processing, accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), and general accounting tasks. The Bookkeeper will work closely with the Controller to ensure a smooth and timely month-end closing process.

Responsibilities:

• Payroll Processing: Process weekly hourly payroll accurately and efficiently.
• Tax Preparation: Prepare quarterly payroll tax filings in compliance with regulations.
• Accounts Receivable and Payable: Manage and maintain A/R and A/P, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and payments.
• Bookkeeping Duties: Perform other general bookkeeping responsibilities as needed to maintain accurate financial records.
• Month-End Closing: Collaborate with the Controller to facilitate and support timely month-end closing processes.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all financial data complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous bookkeeping experience is required.
• Education: An accounting-related degree is a plus but not mandatory.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software (Sage), ERP systems, and the Microsoft Office suite is essential.
• Work Flexibility: Must be willing to work at least one weekend per month.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines are crucial.
