**Job Title: Cleaning Technician**
**Job Description**
The Cleaning Technician is responsible for the proper cleaning, maintenance, and preparation of epoxy molds used in the manufacturing process. This role ensures molds are free of contaminants and meet quality standards to support efficient production and product integrity.
**Responsibilities**
+ Flex the mold to loosen cured resin.
+ Peel or pop out residue carefully without tearing the mold.
+ Apply mild heat as necessary during cleaning processes.
+ Perform heavy lifting up to 40 lbs as part of the job duties.
+ Clean and maintain epoxy molds according to company standards and safety guidelines.
+ Remove cured epoxy, debris, and residue using approved tools, chemicals, and processes.
+ Inspect molds for damage, wear, or defects and report issues promptly.
+ Apply mold release agents as required for production readiness.
+ Follow strict safety protocols when handling chemicals and cleaning equipment.
+ Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and mold condition.
+ Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure molds meet specifications.
+ Assist in inventory control of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in cleanroom environments.
+ Familiarity with assembly and production processes.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools.
+ Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
+ Attention to detail and inspection skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Capability to perform general cleaning and general labor tasks.
+ Ability to handle heavy lifting up to 40 lbs.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a mixed-use facility that includes a large room filled with different assembly stations, machines, warehouse, and R&D labs. The manufacturing floor exposes employees to chemicals, dust, and noise. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required to ensure safety.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Rohnert Park, CA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
