DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerk Typist 2, you will provide routine clerical administrative support throughout the CMSU Behavioral Heath & Developmental Services case management agency. Primary functions include typing a variety of documents such as letters, service plans, case notes, maintenance of manuals, and initiating or updating lists. You will also complete filing duties, data entry, and provide receptionist services to include answering incoming calls. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, as you will be in direct contact with clients and interfacing with co-workers on a daily basis.


Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerk Typist 1 and educational development to the level of eighth grade; or
  • Completion of a high school business curriculum which included at least one typing course; or
  • Any combination of equivalent experience and training.


Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
