Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Speech Language Pathology and/or a major in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Licenses: This program is for candidates who will be fully eligible for a speech and language pathology assistant's license once 25 hours of clinical assisting experience hours are obtained and verified. 

Your Role at AIM

Responsibilities:

• Complete all program requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, attending synchronous and asynchronous lessons specific to the role of a school based SLPA. 
• Maintain compliance of in person clinical assisting schedule as created by supervising SLP. 
• Professional aptitude and adherence to all federal, state, local and organizational requirements. 

What We Offer:

• Clinical Assisting Experience supervising SLP: Supervision will occur in person in the Austin area. 
• Possible Offer of Employment: A limited number of job opportunities will be available for candidates who successfully complete the clinical deficiency program.
