Job Summary

The work of a Commissary Agent, depending on assignment, includes any or all of the following: prepared aircraft catering carts and/or bins with beverages, ice, liquor, snacks, and other on-board amenities as needed by the airline. May deliver carts/bins to the aircraft and remove like cart/bins from the aircraft; inventory supplies and complete necessary reports/forms; receives delivery of inventory from vendors. May be required to operate motorized vehicles in the delivery and/or pickup of carts/bins from the aircraft. May be required to assist with the loading/unloading and cleaning of aircraft as needed.

Communicates with customers, vendors, and colleagues over the telephone and/or radio for planning purposes. Perform various other related customer service duties as assigned.

Comply with WFS site security procedures for assigned warehouse and other operations. Remain cognizant of WFS staff, security contractors, and visitors’ activities and report security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan to managers or via the WFS whistleblower program.

• Ability to accept ownership, responsibility, and accountability of functional obligations, exhibit patience and diplomacy, and communicate effectively with all levels of management.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to understand basic arithmetic.
• Valid state driver's license (where applicable).
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Must report to work on a regular and timely basis.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with different levels of management, internally and externally, in communicating issues.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• Lift, bend, and stack bags/boxes weighing up to 70 lbs onto carts, into bins, and into storage racks/shelves/compartments.
