Job Title: Part-Time Commission-Based Sales Representative

Job Type:
-Independent Contractor (1099) - 100% Commission-Based
-Part-time role with flexible hours - estimated 15-25 hours per week
-Remote role with local travel - Work from home and may need to meet clients within the local service area as some clients prefer face-to-face meetings.
-Local travel limited to the following Illinois Counties: Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, and Will.

Responsibilities:
-Identify potential B2B customers for marketing and technology services, including but not limited to WordPress websites, SEO, PPC Ads, email marketing, graphic design, social media management, cloud solutions, SaaS, and cybersecurity. A full list of services is available on our website.
-Focus on outbound methods such as cold calling, cold emailing, door-to-door outreach, online groups/forums, local networking events, social selling, and other online and offline lead generation tactics. Use CRM to document sales activity.
-Research and pre-qualify leads using sales tools and other lead generation databases.
-Make initial contact with prospects and introduce them to our services.
-Conduct discovery calls to understand clients' business needs and challenges.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
-Follow up with leads to move them through the sales funnel.
-Sell advertising packages for Google, Meta, Yelp, and other platforms.
-Sell commercial video and photography services to local businesses.
-Convert inbound leads from the website, phone calls, and referrals into sales.
-Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities for additional services.
-Close deals to drive revenue and earn commission.
-Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sales process.
-Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with company goals.
-Ensure a smooth handoff to the service team after closing a sale.
-Perform other sales-related tasks as needed to support business growth.

Skills & Qualifications:
We're looking for someone who is energetic, outgoing, and enjoys meeting new people. The ideal candidate thrives in social settings, has strong emotional control, and can confidently engage with potential clients.
-2 to 3 years of successful sales experience is preferred.
-Strong sales, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and organized.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, CRM tools, and video calls.
-Knowledge of lead databases, lead qualification, and lead nurturing
-Knowledge of B2B sales and marketing principles.
-Knowledge of digital marketing and technology services and products is preferred.

Requirements:
-Associate/Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. High School Diploma/GED required.
-Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle when needed.
-Must have a desktop or laptop computer, high-speed internet, and a cell phone.
-Professional appearance and business casual attire.
-Must be available during part of normal business hours (Mon-Fri, 8am to 4pm) for internal sales and client meetings.
-Must sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and 12-month non-compete agreement.
-References from past sales roles may be requested.
Compensation & Commission Structure:
-15% commission on one-time projects and one-time setup fees.
-10% commission on monthly recurring revenue for the first 12 months (as long as the client remains active).
-Commissions are paid only after payment is received from the client.
-Uncapped earning potential, subject to service availability.
