Counter Manager Location North Charleston, SC :

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Counter Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations at the counter, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales through effective upselling techniques. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for customers while managing inventory and staff performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with clients and addressing their needs effectively.
• Utilize upselling techniques to promote products and services, enhancing the overall customer experience.
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring products are stocked and displayed attractively.
• Train and mentor staff on best practices in customer service, retail sales, and salon software usage.
• Implement retail math skills to analyze sales data and track performance metrics.
• Maintain a clean and organized counter area that reflects the brand's image.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to provide informed recommendations to customers.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail management or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong background in customer service with proven ability to enhance client satisfaction.
• Familiarity with salon software systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of cosmetology is beneficial but not required; however, an interest in beauty products is essential.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Multilingual abilities are an advantage, particularly in English and other languages relevant to our clientele.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.12 - $18.62 per hour

Expected hours: 38.5 per week
