Job Description

Under general supervision, drives a van, pick-up, bus, or truck, not exceeding GVRW of 26,000 pounds, to transport passengers and/or materials and equipment not transportable by automobile; performs minor preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Commercial class B Minnesota driver?s license with passenger endorsement.

• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and professional manner.

• Knowledge of auto mechanics sufficient to perform routine maintenance tasks, such as tire and oil changes, lubrication, and cleaning of the vehicle.

Preferred Qualification 

• Knowledge of state and local laws governing operation of motor vehicles on highways and city streets.

• Skills in operation large vans and trucks.

• Previous experience transporting passengers in a van or bus.

• Ability to communicate with diverse passengers.

Other Requirements

A drivers? license and background check will be completed. Drug and alcohol testing is required.
