Job Description
Under general supervision, drives a van, pick-up, bus, or truck, not exceeding GVRW of 26,000 pounds, to transport passengers and/or materials and equipment not transportable by automobile; performs minor preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
Minimum Qualifications
Commercial class B Minnesota driver?s license with passenger endorsement.
Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
Knowledge of auto mechanics sufficient to perform routine maintenance tasks, such as tire and oil changes, lubrication, and cleaning of the vehicle.
Preferred Qualification
Knowledge of state and local laws governing operation of motor vehicles on highways and city streets.
Skills in operation large vans and trucks.
Previous experience transporting passengers in a van or bus.
Ability to communicate with diverse passengers.
Other Requirements
A drivers? license and background check will be completed. Drug and alcohol testing is required.
