Job Title: Design Verification Engineer

Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid)

Role Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Design Verification Engineer to join a dynamic silicon verification team working on innovative mixed-signal IC developments. This role involves collaborating closely with digital and analog designers, applications engineers, and manufacturing teams to support verification for cutting-edge audio processing solutions. As part of this team, you’ll contribute to the design and development of complex verification systems and help drive improvements in verification methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute verification plans for mixed-signal ASICs.
  • Build testbenches using UVM methodologies to verify complex IC designs.
  • Perform functional verification, failure analysis, and coverage analysis.
  • Create and debug digital/mixed-signal models and implement directed/constraint-random test generation.
  • Conduct gate-level simulations, regression debug support, and infrastructure development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support pre-silicon verification and post-silicon validation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in design verification of mixed-signal products.
  • MS or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in HDLs (e.g., Verilog, VHDL) and HVLs (e.g., SystemVerilog/UVM, OVM, AVM, Vera).
  • Solid understanding of digital signal processing.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working with digital/analog designers, applications engineers, and manufacturing teams.
  • Knowledge of signal processing and Verilog Assertions.
  • Ability to debug, evaluate, and enhance verification processes.
  • Strong mentorship skills to guide junior engineers in verification methodologies.
