Job Title : Director of Business Development - Government Solutions

Job Location: Texas (On-site)

Job Tenure : Full time

BuzzClan seeks an experienced Business Development Director to drive the growth of our technology and staffing solutions across Texas state and local government agencies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing and growing government contracts, a deep understanding of the public sector procurement process, and strong technical acumen in IT services and staff augmentation.



Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business development initiatives focused on Texas state agencies, cities, counties, and educational institutions
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key government decision-makers and procurement officers
• Develop winning proposals and responses to government RFPs/RFQs
• Create go-to-market strategies for BuzzClan's core offerings, including IT Staff Augmentation Services Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions Business Application Services Data Engineering & Analytics Quality Assurance & Automation Solutions
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure proper solution design and pricing
• Track and forecast sales pipeline and revenue
• Stay current on government IT initiatives and spending priorities
• Mentor and develop junior BD team members.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of business development experience selling technology solutions to government clients
• Proven track record of winning state/local government contracts in Texas
• Deep understanding of government procurement processes, contract vehicles, and compliance requirements
• Experience with staff augmentation and professional services delivery models
• A strong network of relationships within government agencies
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Texas DIR and other state contract vehicles
• Knowledge of Oracle, AWS, Microsoft, and other key technology partnerships
• MBA or relevant advanced degree
• Public sector consulting background
