Provide strategic leadership to the Project Management team, setting clear goals, mentoring staff, and ensuring adherence to best practices.
Manage a growing team of project managers, ensuring appropriate resource allocation and professional development.
Act as an escalation point for complex project issues, identifying risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of project milestones, financials, and client communications.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Business Development, Operations, and R&D, to align project execution with company goals.
Foster strong client relationships and promote a client-first approach to service excellence.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, life sciences, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
7+ years of experience in project or program management, ideally in a CDMO, CRO, or pharmaceutical/biotech environment.
PMP certification or formal project management training is highly desirable.
Proven leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
Strong business acumen, with a track record of driving operational excellence and revenue growth.
Excellent problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex client relationships.
Strong influencing and collaboration skills across all levels of an organization.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Smartsheet, and other project management tools.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
Why Join Us?
This position offers an exciting opportunity to partner with industry-leading clients and engage in all stages of the pharmaceutical commercialization process, from formula inception through to clinical trials, regulatory filings, and commercial production.
