Job Description

Our client, a prominent law firm, is seeking an eDiscovery & Litigation Support Analyst to join their dynamic team in their New York office. This critical role involves providing support for eDiscovery and litigation technology, working closely with various internal stakeholders, and managing electronic document production and trial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in the legal field, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with experience in Excel/Power BI, VA/VBA and/or certifications such as a Relativity Certified Administrator, will move to the front of the line. This role does require 5 days in office with some flexibility. If you have a background in eDiscovery, litigation support, or project management, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Job Summary:
The eDiscovery & Litigation Support Analyst is a critical part of the firm’s eDiscovery Team and will provide eDiscovery and litigation technology support and assist with electronic document production and trial project management. The position will work with eDiscovery vendors, paralegals, bench attorneys, associates, partners, and other internal stakeholders. The candidate will need to interface directly with internal stakeholders and other department staff members to understand their needs to administer and conduct tasks accordingly. 

Responsibilities:
  • Enter billable time entries, meeting expectation of 1400 annual billable hours
  • Communicate with project managers to establish and meet the end-users needs
  • Arrange database creation, management and troubleshooting, data import and export, eDiscovery data manipulation/conversion, imaging, electronic document production, and trial technology project management
  • Coordinate the development and maintenance of the Firm’s databases through the exploitation of user, technical and administrative services
  • Process/load incoming production sets and documents into the Firm's repository in a timely manner; map data, manipulate and convert files, upload and migrations of single records or production sets
  • Provide general reporting, customized reporting and specialized search creation
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of Litigation Support software; promote the sharing of leveraged knowledge and information resources across the firm through regular customer networking
  • Manage electronic conversion flow and identify and recommend software and/or parties responsible for conversion of such sets of electronically stored information
  • Anticipate case team needs and proactively provide assistance to ensure service and support expectations are met
  • Support a rotating weekly after-hours/weekend on-call schedule
  • Take primary or secondary lead on e-Discovery engagements
Requirements:
  • Experience in the legal field in eDiscovery, litigation support, paralegal, attorney or review project management
  • Excel / Power BI experience, is a plus
  • VB / VBA experience is a plus
  • Experience with client services in a professional environment or account management in a technical environment
  • Platform-specific certifications such as Relativity Admin Certification, a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional demeanor, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to efficiently gather and process information for problem-solving and troubleshooting requests from clients
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-growth atmosphere without sacrificing quality of client service
  • Ability to work successfully both in a team and as an individual contributor
  • Ability to work nights and/or weeks as work demands
  • This position regularly requires in-office attendance during normal business hours (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM) Monday to Friday. Occasional remote work is permitted at the firms’ discretion.
Expected salary for this non-exempt role is $100,000 - 125,000 commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
