Under the general direction of the Chief Engineer II, the Electrician I, in the Facilities Management Division (FMD) Caltrans Management Unit, performs installation, preventive maintenance and repairs of building electrical systems in accordance with principals and guidelines of the Department of General Services (DGS).

This position may require travel.

Per CCR 249.3, this job control may be used to fill subsequent vacancies.
