Are you passionate about gaming and skilled in translation? Join Keywords Studios, a leading international technical service provider in the global gaming industry, with studios across Asia, Europe, North, and South America.

We're looking for an experienced English-to-Vietnamese freelance translator to support a long-term project. This role requires a fixed weekday schedule of eight hours per day, from 10 AM to 7 PM GMT+8. Key Responsibilities

• Translate English content into high-quality, natural Vietnamese.
• Review and refine Vietnamese translations for consistency and accuracy.
• Provide detailed language quality reports on reviewed texts.
• Develop and manage glossaries, terminologies, and style guides.
• Work closely with freelance translators and vendors, offering feedback and support.
• Ensure creative consistency in the Vietnamese localization.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, LQA teams, linguists, and the translation team to maintain quality across all projects.
• Perform Quality Assurance (QA) checks to ensure top-notch translations.
• Take full ownership of assigned translations to ensure the best possible content for our players.

Please note that this position is only open to freelancers available in the GMT+8 time zone.

Qualified candidates will be asked to complete additional documentation and a translation test, which will be reviewed by our leads. Those who meet our quality standards will proceed to an interview, and the final candidate will join our team.

Requirements

• Native Vietnamese speaker with excellent command of the language.

• Strong proficiency in English.

• Knowledge of Sino-Vietnamese and understanding of Simplified Chinese is a plus.

• A university degree in translation or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 3 years of proven experience in game localization.

• Deep understanding of gaming culture and localization trends.

• Experience using CAT tools is preferred.

• Familiarity with esports and the player community is a plus.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse, global team.

• Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
