Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Fraud Prevention Data Analyst for a project in Plymouth, Massachusetts. In this role, you will contribute to the identification and analysis of fraudulent activities within the banking sector while supporting compliance efforts. This is a hybrid position requiring a strong analytical mindset and expertise in financial crime prevention. Responsibilities: - Analyze and assess suspicious activity reports to identify potential fraud and ensure compliance with regulations. - Collaborate with the team to investigate anti-money laundering (AML) cases and implement preventive measures. - Conduct thorough reviews of customer profiles as part of Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures. - Utilize data analysis tools to detect patterns and trends indicative of financial crime. - Provide detailed reports and insights to support decision-making and enhance fraud prevention strategies. - Work with internal systems to ensure accurate tracking and documentation of fraudulent claims. - Coordinate with compliance and risk management teams to align processes with regulatory requirements. - Develop and refine workflows to improve efficiency in fraud detection and reporting. - Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in financial crime prevention. - Assist in the testing and optimization of ERP systems related to fraud prevention. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis with a focus on fraud prevention or compliance. - Strong knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and procedures. - Familiarity with Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols and financial crime investigations. - Proficiency in analyzing suspicious activity reports and identifying fraudulent patterns. - Experience with ERP systems, particularly Lawon ERP, is preferred. - Ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
