Epic Healthy Planet Analyst – Remote Contract

Position Type: Contract (Remote)

Initial Contract Duration: Through December 31, 2025 with expected extension into 2026.

Location: Remote (Enterprise Health System – West Coast)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Epic Healthy Planet Analyst to join our team on a remote contract basis through the end of the year. The primary focus of this role will be to address and complete a backlog of Healthy Planet-related enhancements for an enterprise-level health system based on the West Coast.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Healthy Planet build, configuration, and workflow optimization to support population health, quality programs, and care management initiatives. They must be able to work independently while collaborating with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, prioritize, and resolve a backlog of Healthy Planet enhancement requests.
  
• Perform analysis, build, testing, and implementation of configuration changes.
  
• Collaborate with care management teams, quality program leaders, and IT colleagues to optimize workflows.
  
• Configure and maintain registries, metrics, scorecards, and analytics to support value-based care and population health objectives.
  
• Ensure enhancements align with regulatory reporting requirements, quality programs (HEDIS, ACO, MIPS), and organizational goals.
  
• Document build changes, workflow updates, testing scenarios, and operational impacts.
  
• Participate in change control and release management processes.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and workflow-related issues.
  
• Provide clear communication and progress updates to stakeholders.
  

Contract Details

• Term: Immediate start through December 31, 2025
  
• Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
  
• Location: 100% Remote (occasional flexible hours may be required to align with West Coast time zone)
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• Required Epic Certification: Epic Healthy Planet
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Healthy Planet build, configuration, and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of population health management concepts, quality reporting programs, and value-based care initiatives.
• Experience supporting large enterprise health systems.
• Proficiency in Epic testing, validation, and change control processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating Healthy Planet with other Epic modules such as Care Management, MyChart, or Reporting Workbench.
• Familiarity with CMS, HEDIS, and ACO program requirements.
• Background in backlog and enhancement queue management.
