If so, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vital project assessing quality of life and satisfaction with state services.

We're looking for contracted Field Interviewers to join a critical research initiative that aims to assess the quality of life of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The project will run from January to May 2025 (or until all surveys are completed). As a Field Interviewer, you will conduct interviews with participants from diverse backgrounds and provide essential insights on their experiences with services.

Responsibilities:
Independently manage your interview schedule, coordinating with participants.
Conduct interviews with care and empathy, ensuring a comfortable and unbiased environment.
Travel to participants' preferred locations for in-person interviews (usually at their homes).
Track and record call dispositions, input participant information via an online platform.
Manage Zoom meetings, send invites, and provide technical support as needed.
Record interview findings, resolve any inconsistencies, and submit completed surveys.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to federal HIPAA regulations and data security standards.
Stay in regular communication with your team for updates and support.
Field Interviewers will be expected to conduct interviews in-person or virtually, depending on the preferences of participants. Compensation is based on the completion of interviews, covering work hours, travel, mileage, and supplies.

Qualifications:
Self-motivated, able to work independently in a remote setting
Comfortable with technology, particularly Zoom and other online platforms
Compassionate and patient with individuals with disabilities
Strong communication skills to build trust and establish rapport with participants
Access to a personal vehicle for travel to participants' locations
Equipped with a personal computer, webcam, and a secure Wi-Fi connection
Organized and detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in your work
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in research fieldwork, especially in interviewing or observational roles
Familiarity with individuals with disabilities or experience in group homes or day centers
Energetic, resilient, and sales-minded individuals are a great fit
An interest in professional growth within social research or graduate school opportunities
Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are highly encouraged to apply
Compensation:
Training & Orientation: $400 (Breakdown: $50 for pre-training modules, $300 for virtual training completion, $50 for skills assessment and mock interview)
Per Interview: $90 for completed video interviews, $100+ for completed in-person interviews (depending on travel distance)
