We’re looking for a dedicated Food Scientist to join our Quality team, driving food safety, regulatory compliance, and process improvement. This is a hands-on role blending research, quality management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our products meet the highest standards.
What You’ll Do
Conduct research and experiments to improve food safety and product quality
Develop and maintain quality management systems in line with FDA regulations
Perform quality control assessments to ensure compliance with company and industry standards
Partner with production, R&D, and other teams to optimize food processing methods
Maintain clean, safe, and compliant lab and workspace environments
Analyze data from testing/research and prepare detailed reports
Stay current on industry trends, HACCP guidelines, and HARPC requirements
Train and support team members on quality procedures and best practices
What You Bring
Education in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field preferred – equivalent experience considered
Experience in food manufacturing quality systems (lab or plant-floor background welcomed)
Familiarity with HACCP, HARPC, and FDA regulations
Strong analytical skills for research and data interpretation
Ability to maintain rigorous cleanliness and safety standards
Clear communication skills for working across teams
Detail orientation and commitment to continuous improvement
Role Details
Full-time, onsite position
Standard day shift; occasional weekend or 2nd shift support may be needed
Individual contributor role with potential to grow into leadership
Annual profit-sharing bonus potential (not guaranteed)
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $65,000 – $80,000, depending on experience
