Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineer to join our Forensic Engineering Department. This role offers the opportunity to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact. You’ll work with a talented team, conducting inspections, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This position provides both flexibility and responsibility in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform visual inspections of buildings and structures
• Prepare written reports following inspection and code guidelines
• Review drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for accuracy and compliance
• Estimate material, equipment, and labor costs
• Attend project meetings and address inquiries from various stakeholders
• Follow office policies, standards, and project schedules

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university
• Professional Engineering license (PE)
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
• 2 years of post-degree work experience in construction, design, inspection, or estimating
• Experience working onsite and conforming to drawings, specifications, and plans
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with colleagues and clients
• Excellent planning, organization, and attention to detail
• Experience with contractors, time management, and industry-applied methods
