General Maintenance Technician Job Description As a General Maintenance Technician, you will be an integral part of our operations, ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of building systems, equipment, and fixtures. The position pays $24-28 per hour Responsibilities: Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner. Repair plumbing, HVAC systems, electrical, and mechanical systems as needed. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Maintain and keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and work orders. Assist in the procurement of maintenance supplies and tools as required. Collaborate with other team members and management to enhance work processes. Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong knowledge of maintenance techniques and safety standards. Desired Experience: Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in a maintenance role. Hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems preferred. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
