Illustrative Duties

Work Location: In person

Provides mapping and graphics assistance to other County Departments and to the general public.
Provide backup to GIS Specialist II on subdivision/condo process.
Research parcel discrepancies and make corrections.
Edits and maintains departmental base map layers.
Prepares maps, charts and drawings from aerial photos and other survey data and identifies features and cartographic detail.
Understanding of GIS Data Structures
Importing Tables from other sources
Exporting of GIS Data to other formats

Graduation from high school or GED, and one (1) year of experience with ArcGIS Software or two (2) years with equivalent GIS software. A comparable amount of education, training, or experience may be substituted for the minimum experience.
