Job Description:
CareHarmony is seeking a motivated and talented Healthcare Operations Analytics Intern to support our growing analytics team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with healthcare data, SQL development, and reporting tools in a fast-paced healthcare operations environment. The intern will work on various projects aimed at improving patient outcomes, streamlining reporting processes, and enhancing cross-functional team collaboration. This role will enable the intern to develop a strong foundation in data analysis, SQL programming, and practical application of analytics in the healthcare industry.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Healthcare Operations Analytics Intern at CareHarmony, you will be tasked with working on the following projects:
Apply critical thinking and creativity to brainstorm innovative ways to utilize available data for clinical outcome measurement.
Use DBT (Data Build Tool) to create SQL code that generates new metrics for patient outcomes
Work on creating SQL logic and contributing to our codebase using Git.
Collaborate with the data visualization team to help transition your SQL logic into actionable insights published on dashboards that support clinical operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to survey the usage of existing dashboards across various departments.
Assist in improving query efficiency and reducing database load
Engage with stakeholders and develop strong communication skills in managing cross-functional relationships.
Additional Information:
Duration: This is a full-time Summer 2025 internship opportunity, with flexibility to align with academic schedules.

Current student pursuing a Master’s or undergraduate degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Healthcare Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, or similar).
Solid knowledge of SQL and data manipulation, including querying databases, creating reports, and data cleaning.
Experience in or willingness to learn and work with Git, DBT, and other command line tools
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with healthcare data and the healthcare industry is a plus but not required.
