LaBella is looking for the right person to join our Interior Design team in the Architecture division. The position will support all markets that LaBella serves (K12 Education, Higher Education, Healthcare, Corporate, Multi-Family, Sports & Entertainment and Commercial project) and will allow for a wide range of experience as they grow as a designer.
Duties
Designers are expected to understand the design process and support projects teams through all phases.
Support the development of programming and space planning during Schematic Design.
Participate in field measurements, verifications, and scanning technology of existing conditions.
Create 3D models for presentation and construction documentation.
Support the development of floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, custom millwork, detailing, schedules, and finish documents from Design Development through Construction Documentation.
Support in the selection and application of interior finishes and materials.
Develop presentations that include precedent imagery, 2D and 3D renderings, and animations.
Be familiar with manufacturer’s sales representatives, maintain the material library, and sample ordering.
Assist in client meetings and presentations.
Work under the mentorship of a Senior Interior Designer or Architect.
General understanding public health and safety codes including accessibility and environmental guidelines.
Occasionally, travel will be required.
Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
