Job Description

GCyber is seeking a JIRA Administrator , to support a high profile DISA customer in their mission to improve collaboration and information sharing between defense and intelligence organizations. The JIRA Administrator will configure and maintain JIRA dashboards and workflows to streamline cloud systems deployment and management.

As the JIRA Administrator, you will:

• Analyze, review, and document current functionality to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage user permissions, security settings, and administration tasks for JIRA, Confluence, and related tools.
• Perform system maintenance, including data backups, scheduled jobs, and compatibility testing for updates.
• Configure and optimize JIRA projects, workflows, filters, dashboards, and reporting for enhanced efficiency.
• Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to share knowledge and support data-driven decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance and be eligible to obtain and maintain a CI poly.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II (i.e., Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC)
• BA/BS degree and 4-8 years prior relevant experience: additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 3+ years hands on experience working with the Atlassian product suite, with specific focus on JIRA as an administrator.
• Ability to construct custom dashboards using various filter types in JIRA.
• Ability to construct Confluence pages and integrate JIRA projects with Confluence pages.
• experience in performing Atlassian installations, migration, and plugin installation a must
