Job Description

Description of the role: The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. They will work under the guidance of a Master Electrician, ensuring that all projects are completed safely and to code. Responsibilities:

Install electrical systems and components, including wiring, lighting fixtures, and circuit breakers
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems
Conduct inspections to identify issues and suggest necessary repairs or upgrades
Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects and plumbers, to ensure efficient project completion
Able to work within job schedule and plan ahead for material and labor needs

Requirements:

Valid Journeyman Electrician license
Prior experience as a Journeyman Electrician
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and codes
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
Excellent problem-solving skills
Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job
