We are looking for a committed and caring Special Education Teacher to become part of our energetic and supportive team. In this role, you’ll work with students who have diverse learning, emotional, behavioral, and physical needs. Your responsibilities will include creating and implementing personalized instruction that aligns with each student’s unique abilities, empowering them to succeed both academically and personally.
In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet each student's unique learning needs. You'll collaborate closely with fellow teachers, parents, and support professionals to foster a supportive and inclusive educational environment. Your participation in IEP meetings will involve sharing insights and providing updates on student progress, along with suggesting necessary adjustments to learning plans. Additionally, you'll monitor and document student growth, making data-informed decisions to adapt instruction as needed. Managing classroom behavior using compassionate and effective strategies will also be a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring a respectful and positive learning atmosphere for all students.
