We are seeking a Legal Administrator on behalf of a financial company specializing in online banking as a service.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with departments such as privacy, information security, and finance to obtain and deliver due diligence documents and notices.
• Review, draft, and prepare legal documents.
• Conduct legal and factual research.
• Perform administrative responsibilities related to legal matters.
• Create and maintain process documents and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Organize and facilitate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking notes, tracking action items, and following up on completion.
• Handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
• Work closely with attorneys on meetings, projects, and initiatives related to Galileo.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or similar role, ideally in an in-house setting.
• Exceptional writing and proofreading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask across various departments and subject areas.
• Proficiency in tracking deadlines and managing time-sensitive projects.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Knowledge of legal requirements related to contracts.
• Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office, G-Suite, Airtable, Ivalua, IronClad, and Confluence.
• Experience with creating PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter eager to take on diverse projects and legal matters.
• Experience managing and driving legal projects to completion.

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services or fintech.
• Familiarity with tools like Legal Tracker, LexisNexis, Jira, and e-discovery platforms (e.g., Relativity).
