Soberalski Immigration Law is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the full-time position of Legal Assistant – Front Desk at our West Allis office. In this role, the candidates will have the opportunity to fulfill vital clerical and customer service needs of prospective immigrants, their families, and other important contacts. This position works as part of a front desk team. This is an in-person role with typical hours being 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
Job duties initially include:
· Intake
· Serving as the first point of contact for clients
· Answering Phones
· Filing documents
· Assisting with daily office tasks
· Interpreting
Skills and experience needed:
· Bilingual in Spanish and English
· Highly organized (will handle things like payments and collecting vital documents)
· Customer service (answer a high volume of phone calls and in-person visits)
· Problem-solving skills
· Commitment to the principles of equity and social justice
· Data entry and knowledge of Microsoft and Google Suite
· Ability to think on your feet and multitask
