Job Description

Round Hill Search is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for our client, a prestigious boutique litigation firm in downtown Los Angeles. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal with strong technical skills and a proactive approach to case management. The team is a high-performance, high-volume litigation environment with an energetic and productive team looking for a Paralegal to jump in and assist them with their goals, establish systems, and be an integral part of their practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including case management, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Must be adept with handling settlements and, therefore, numbers and calculations.
  • Manage case files, maintain case deadlines, and coordinate with attorneys to ensure timely filings and responses.
  • Draft, review, and format legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries, chronologies, and deposition outlines.
  • Assist in organizing and managing document production, including e-discovery and database management.
  • Work collaboratively with attorneys to develop and implement efficient workflows and case management systems.
  • Coordinate and prepare for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials, including preparation of trial binders and exhibits.
  • Federal court experience preferred.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 4+ years of litigation experience with reputable California law firms.
  • Experience in consumer, business, and employment litigation is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with legal technology and case management software, including e-discovery platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to build and enhance firm systems to improve efficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment while managing multiple deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program required.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $80,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience.
