Job Description

The Loader Operator will be responsible for safe and efficient operation primarily using a frontend loader and the occasional operation of other heavy equipment to transport earthen material process equipment and components. Additional responsibilities include performing physical and manual laborrelated tasks such as maintenance cleaning and manually material sorting.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Inspect equipment carefully before every shift. Check all fluids for proper levels before operating.
• Keep loader clean inside and out.
• Perform any necessary routine maintenance on loader such as lubricating and fueling.
• Grease loader every shift according to the environment.
• Blow out air filters between servicing usually once per shift.
• Reporting parts or supplies needed to do the repairs.
• Responsible for ensuring all piles are labeled correctly.
• Follow all Safety Operating Guidelines (SOGs)
• Perform related work and additional duties as requested/assigned by supervisor

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience preferably in and around soils screening soil moving and soil processing operations
• Experience in using a Loader Operator required
• Mechanical ability a plus
• Good work ethic selfmotivated
• Knowledge and experience operating front end wheel loaders; excavators; screening crushing and material conveying systems; street sweepers; skid steers; and other similar equipment.
• Knowledge of equipment inspection preventative maintenance and cleaning standards.
• Ability to work independently in a safe and efficient manner and to follow safety policies and procedures.
• Solid communication problemsolving and leadership skills
• Creative thinker with ability to consider out of the box solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to deal politely and professionally with coworkers and company visitors.
• Ability to follow directions or instructions.
• Ability to use a computer to access training portals.
