We are seeking a motivated Inventory Attendant to join our team. This role is essential to dealership operations and ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, being active, and working in a dynamic environment—with excellent growth opportunities within the dealership and the broader Lindsay Automotive Group.

About the Role

As an Inventory Attendant, you will support the management and organization of both new and used vehicle inventory, display and storage. You’ll ensure vehicles are properly received, inspected, positioned, cataloged, and ready for customers and sales staff.

This position offers numerous opportunities to develop skills that can lead to advancement within operations, inventory coordination, sales support, or other dealership departments as your experience and interests grow.

Job Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities (Inventory Attendant)

  • Verify VINs and compare incoming units to invoices.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage and confirm accessories listed on the invoice.
  • Document any damage or missing items on delivery receipts.
  • Park, organize, and maintain new and used inventory in designated areas.
  • Maintain and catalog keys and stock numbers.
  • Stage and move vehicles to maximize lot efficiency and accessibility.
  • Deliver sold vehicles to the preparation department.
  • Assist with periodic vehicle maintenance to protect tires, batteries, and finishes.

Additional Responsibilities

As experience grows, you may take on additional tasks such as:

  • Assisting with inventory flow and lot layout strategies.
  • Supporting vehicle tracking, logging, and control processes.
  • Helping maintain accurate inventory information in dealership systems.
  • Participating in periodic inventory reviews and reconciliations.
  • Supporting accounting with claim documentation or discrepancy research.

  • Responsible individual, who can adhere to schedules with attention to detail and reliability.
  • Ability to work outdoors and remain active throughout the day.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Comfort working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn dealership systems.
  • Positive attitude and interest in long-term career growth.

Physical Requirements

  • Regular standing, walking, bending, and vehicle movement.
  • Ability to lift 20–30 lbs periodically.
