Job Title: Museum Assistant

Location: Keyport, WA

Duties:

• Provide collections management services including cataloging, photography, and housing of the U.S. Naval Undersea Museum Technical Manual Collection.
• Input all object data and images into an appropriate format for future import into DONCOMS (EMu).
• Digitize images to be uploaded into the collections management database.
• Responsible for ensuring all images are in focus with proper exposure and composition.
• Work requires an eye for detail in performing all document related tasks.

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Arts degree or equivalent in History, Anthropology, Public History, Museum Studies, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in museum.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
