Job Description

Job Title: Museum Assistant

Location: Keyport, WA

Duties:

Provide collections management services including cataloging, photography, and housing of the U.S. Naval Undersea Museum Technical Manual Collection.
Input all object data and images into an appropriate format for future import into DONCOMS (EMu).
Digitize images to be uploaded into the collections management database.
Responsible for ensuring all images are in focus with proper exposure and composition.
Work requires an eye for detail in performing all document related tasks.

Education & Qualifications:

Bachelor of Arts degree or equivalent in History, Anthropology, Public History, Museum Studies, or a related field.
2 years of experience in museum.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
