Job Title: Part-Time Nanny (3 Full Days/Week) Location: Laguna Beach, CA Schedule: 3 full days per week, M,W, and Th Start Time: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Guarantee 36 hours a week Compensation: $35-$38 an hour Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a proactive, organized, and nurturing nanny to support our busy household with three children. This is a dynamic, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys both childcare and home management tasks. The position includes driving responsibilities, light household duties, and supporting our family’s daily routine.
Morning (7:00 AM Start):
Arrive on time and assist with breakfast and the morning routine
Help the kids get ready and out the door
Drive one child to school in San Juan Capistrano (9:00 AM start)
The other two children attend school in Laguna Beach
Midday (While Kids Are at School):
Light cleaning and tidying (we have professional cleaners 2x/week)
Coordinate Instacart or basic grocery orders
Laundry and basic meal/snack prep
Pack and organize kids’ sports bags for the week
Vacuum and mop floors once per week
Maintain organization throughout the home
Afternoon:
School pick-up (usually only one child)
Homework help for our 7-year-old
Prep after-school snacks and engage in light play or unwind time
Evening:
Pick up the girls from dance class around 6:30 PM
Prepare one crockpot meal per week (simple, family-friendly)
Wrap up by 7 PM
Organized, punctual, and self-motivated
Confidently managing a full, structured day
Takes initiative and stays on top of tasks without constant direction
Comfortable driving children (clean driving record required) NO DUI/DWI
Trustworthy, kind, and experienced with children of various ages
