Job Description

Position Overview:

The NOC Engineer will serve as a critical member of the technology team, providing advanced technical support for clients and internal users. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in networking, server management, and troubleshooting complex IT issues. They will excel in multitasking, communication, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as third-level support for users experiencing complex server and network issues.
  • Configure, install, and troubleshoot servers, networks, and applications.
  • Monitor and respond to alerts for customer equipment, resolving issues proactively.
  • Maintain and manage network infrastructure, including ISP equipment, firewalls, switches, and servers.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding SLAs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to enhance service delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise in Windows, Mac, and various OS platforms.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of technical support experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of networking, servers, storage, and backups.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in virtual servers, backup restoration, VLANs, and wireless/wired networking.
  • Experience with deploying and managing network/server infrastructures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Recommended Certifications:

  • MCPs, MCSA, CCENT, and VCA (highly recommended).
  • MCSE, CCNA, and VCP (preferred).
