Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is hiring immediately for a Part Time Bookkeeper for a reputable company in Placer County.
Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper
Job Type: Part-Time/Temporary - 2 months
Pay: $20-$24.00 DOE
Job Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Prepare financial reports and summaries for management.
Process and record invoices, payments, and expenses.
Assist with budget preparation and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Support the preparation of tax returns and audits.
Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Work Hours
part-time schedule, with an estimated 12-15 hours per week.
