Part-time Faculty: Lean Six Sigma Instructor
Lakeland Community College invites qualified applicants to submit their application to help develop and teach Lean Six Sigma to Engineering and Business majors. Development will occur during the Spring 2025 semester. Teaching of the course as an online course will begin in Fall 2025
Course Development
Incumbent will develop a 3 credit hour course in Lean Six Sigma. This includes producing a syllabus and course outline. Included will be course description, learning outcomes, performance indicators, assessments, course schedule (8 week and 16 week), and other necessary items. The course will cover sufficient material to allow students to sit for Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification testing after completion of the course. The incumbent will assist the full-time faculty of Lakeland in navigating the course for approval through the College's Curriculum Committee.
Course (3 contact hours)
During the Fall 2025 semester the new course will be taught as an experimental course. The modality of the course will be online. Course registration will include both engineering and business management majors.
