Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our clients team on a dynamic, project-driven basis. In this role, you will act as the central point of contact between business stakeholders and the development team, defining product vision and priorities to ensure that the delivered solutions meet both user needs and organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Vision & Roadmap:
   • Develop and maintain the product vision in alignment with company goals and market trends.
   • Create and manage the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of features.
2. Requirements Gathering & Prioritization:
   • Collaborate with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to identify and document product requirements.
   • Refine and prioritize user stories to ensure the most valuable items are delivered first.
3. Backlog Management:
   • Own and maintain a well-organized product backlog, ensuring clarity and transparency.
   • Continuously groom and refine backlog items, providing clear acceptance criteria for the development team.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
   • Work closely with development, QA, UX/UI, and other IT teams to ensure alignment on product goals, deliverables, and timelines.
   • Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
   • Conduct regular stakeholder reviews to gather feedback and validate that the product direction meets business and user expectations.
   • Communicate product progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to leadership and project teams.
6. Sprint Planning & Execution:
   • Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
   • Provide timely feedback and decisions to ensure smooth development and on-time delivery.
7. Data-Driven Decision-Making:
   • Use metrics, user feedback, and market research to inform product decisions and continuously optimize product offerings.
   • Monitor product performance against KPIs and adjust priorities as needed.
8. Continuous Improvement:
   • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to recommend improvements.
   • Champion process enhancements that streamline product development and improve team efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Educational Background:
  Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional Experience:
  3-5 years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role within a technology-driven environment.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) for backlog management and user story creation.
• Business Acumen:
  Strong understanding of market research, product positioning, and strategic planning to align solutions with business goals.
• Analytical Skills:
  Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to turn complex requirements into clear, actionable tasks.
• Interpersonal Skills:
  Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Leadership & Ownership:
  Demonstrated ability to drive product initiatives from conception through launch, taking full ownership and accountability for outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Degree:
  Masters degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Certifications:
  Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or related credentials.
• Industry Knowledge:
  Background in software development or engineering, with a deep understanding of technology trends.
• Tool Proficiency:
  Experience with analytical and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI) to make data-driven decisions.
