Supervisor Second Shift (M-F, 2pm-11pm)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Actively supervise all assigned direct labor personnel.
- Meet production requirements.
- Organize and assign job duties.
- Monitor work performance.
- Maintain high productivity and efficiency levels.
- Maintain high quality levels.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality Standards
- Require all department personnel to follow SOPs and Quality Standards
- Follow, implement, and maintain 5S Program.
- Analyze, resolve, and oversee operational problems.
- Oversee corrective actions and the accompanying documentation.
- Keep accurate time and production records and resolves discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Follow and respond to escalation policy.
- Actively participate in measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality.
- Communicate effectively between departments to coordinate production and quality.

- Report and follow up on machine/equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Participate in training of department personnel.
- Participate in Internal Audit Program.
- Participate in Employee Review Process.
- Participate in hiring and firing of operators.
- Administer discipline effectively and in a timely manner according to the company discipline policy.
- Maintain excellent relations with all other company departments.
- Provide support for other supervisors.
- Communicate with VP of Production concerning activities and actions that could affect decisions, profitability, planning, and/or performance.
- Attend and contribute to all required meetings.
- Participate in shop management techniques that may improve company operations.
- Actively follow and enforce all pertinent company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures and guidelines.
- Perform any other duties not specifically stated herein, but which may be assigned by your supervisor and are properly and logically inherent to this position.
Skills:
- Ability to manage people appropriately and effectively.
- Ability to communicate well both written and verbally.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, blueprints, quality documents, and production schedules.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and fraction equivalents.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions and percentages to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk and talk or hear; sit; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands, arms, and or feet. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel and/or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. All lifting over 50 pounds requires the use of assistance either mechanical or from another person. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Moderate noise level environment.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma, associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical field, five to seven years related experience in production.
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to use ERP system effectively and efficiently
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task under pressure
- Ability to lead multiple teams including disciplining
- Ability to develop employee skills for improved performance and promotion opportunities
