Job Description

Project Engineer (CM) , Singapore
📍Singapore | Project Management, Engineering, Medical Device QMS
Drive advanced manufacturing projects in the medical device industry using cutting-edge technologies—from Metal Injection Molding to 3D Metal Printing — and help deliver next-generation healthcare solutions.

About the Company

The company is a leading contract manufacturer specializing in high-precision components for the medical device industry. With proven expertise in advanced manufacturing technologies and adherence to global quality and regulatory standards, they turn innovative concepts into high-performance, market-ready products. From design to delivery, they help international clients bring life-changing healthcare solutions to the world.

About the Role

A dynamic and future-focused contract manufacturing team in Singapore is looking for a Project Engineer (Contract Manufacturing) to take the lead in managing full-cycle engineering projects. The role involves working with global clients across the medical, industrial, and commercial sectors while acting as the key liaison between customer requirements and internal capabilities. This role will be responsible for ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project execution.

Ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, regulated environments, this opportunity offers hands-on involvement in advanced manufacturing projects that contribute to meaningful, real-world solutions.

What’s in it for you

  • Take charge of project execution — from planning to assembly — in a highly regulated, quality-driven environment
  • Play a pivotal role in delivering medical device solutions that meet global standards
  • Be part of a company where your engineering decisions and documentation shape product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Engage directly with global clients to translate their technical needs into high-performance manufacturing outcomes
  • Thrive in a collaborative team that values precision, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Build a career in a company that centers innovation, structured growth, and meaningful contributions to healthcare technology

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead and manage contract manufacturing projects from initial concept through delivery
  • Cooperate with customers to define project requirements, timelines, and quality standards
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (design, production, QA, supply chain) to ensure a smooth project flow and resolve technical challenges.
  • Monitor project milestones, budgets, and risks, providing regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure strict compliance with quality and regulatory standards, including ISO, FDA, and client-specific protocols.
  • Drive problem-solving and process improvements throughout the project lifecycle, from prototyping to cleanroom assembly.
  • Support business development with technical insights, proposals, and expertise in advanced manufacturing technology.

What we’re looking for

  • Degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering, Electrical Electronics & Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience in project coordinator/management or in related field.
  • Strong understanding of medical device regulations and standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
Preferred but not required:
  • Experience in Metal Injection Molding (MIM), Ceramic Injection Molding (CIM), 3D metal printing, tooling, or cleanroom plastic injection
  • Hands-on experience in contract manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 13485)
