We are seeking a highly motivated Project/Estimating Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in a fast-paced industrial environment, contributing to diverse projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive labor and material estimates for projects
Perform meticulous material take-offs and generate detailed bills of materials
Gather and analyze pricing information from various suppliers
Oversee project planning, budgeting, and logistics
Create detailed drawings for shop work orders and field installations
Travel to customer sites for dimensional verification and project support
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Drafting or Engineering Technology preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
Strong understanding of industrial drawings and their application in material estimation
Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks)
Excellent multitasking and project management abilities
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective written and verbal communication
