Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure product and process design support efficient and high-quality manufacturing outcomes.

  • Participate in product/design reviews, including customer-facing reviews.

  • Develop intelligent inspection techniques aligned with customer requirements and industry standards.

  • Supervise and support Quality Control Inspectors and CMM Programmers to ensure products conform to the Quality Management System.

  • Develop and execute coordinate measurement programs for components with complex geometries and GD&T requirements.

  • Manage inspection workflow and priorities to support production schedules and delivery commitments.

  • Train inspectors on the safe and proper operation of CMMs and other metrology tools.

  • Schedule inspection staff across all shifts to meet production needs.

  • Monitor and improve inspection efficiency by inspector, part number, and process.

  • Maintain calibration and tracking of all metrology and measurement assets.

  • Serve as the final authority for product conformance and deviation approvals.

  • Partner with Engineering and Operations to ensure seamless transfer of new products to production.

  • Oversee and maintain service agreements, licenses, and upgrades for metrology equipment, including Zeiss CMMs and Calypso software.

  • Communicate and resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.

  • Lead, train, and develop quality team members using structured training programs and systems.

  • Conduct performance evaluations, hiring, and corrective actions in partnership with HR.

  • Track and document quality changes and communication through proper channels.

  • Leverage the Global Shop ERP system for documentation and training across the Quality team.

  • Act as the liaison with customers for quality concerns, improvement projects, and RMA processing.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen Geremarie’s quality culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related technical field required (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of quality experience in precision manufacturing, aerospace, or defense industries.

  • Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and metrology principles.

  • Experience leading inspection teams and CMM programming (Zeiss / Calypso strongly preferred).

  • Proven ability to manage quality systems, audits, and ISO 9001 or AS9100 requirements.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Global Shop experience a plus).

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, operations, and leadership functions.

Pay Range

A reasonable estimate of the hourly pay range for this role is $100,000- $120,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
