Job Description

Boyle Software, a subsidiary of Beyondsoft Consulting, Inc., is an Information Technology Consulting company founded in 1988 and headquartered in New York City. Our clients come in all sizes and range across dozens of industries, including: media, entertainment, banking, pharma, medicine, academia, non-profits and governments.

Boyle Software is looking for a React Developer to join our team full time on a project in the Petcare and Veterinary Diagnostics domain . You will work on the modernization of software for biomedical imaging for pets.

This is an 18-months project . Hybrid remote, 2 days a week you will work onsite from client location in Loveland, Colorado .

What you will do:

  • Design and implement responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces using React and modern front-end tooling.
  • Develop mobile-ready and dynamic UI designs that function seamlessly across various screen sizes and devices.
  • Build and maintain reusable, modular components that conform to enterprise design systems and accessibility standards.
  • Architect and manage state effectively using tools like Redux or Zustand for scalable and maintainable applications.
  • Securely consume and integrate RESTful APIs, including support for Single Sign-On (SSO) and token-based authentication workflows.
  • Implement role-based and feature-based access control in client-side applications.
  • Create support for internationalization (i18n) and localization to serve diverse global audiences.
  • Develop and maintain light/dark themes using design system or component library theming capabilities.
  • Ensure front-end security, including protection against XSS, CSRF, secure token handling, and SSO session validation.
  • Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools like Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.
  • Collaborate closely with backend developers, QA, product managers, and UX/UI designers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Document component usage, application architecture, and development standards clearly and thoroughly.
  • Participate in peer reviews, architecture discussions, and agile ceremonies to contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Monitor, debug, and optimize front-end performance and responsiveness.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of professional experience building scalable, production-grade web applications using React.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and experience building mobile-first, cross-browser compatible UIs.
  • Proven experience with enterprise-level application design and component-based architecture.
  • Advanced knowledge of React hooks, component lifecycle, context API, and functional component design.
  • Experience with modern state management libraries (e.g., Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Recoil).
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+), with solid experience in HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS.
  • Practical experience integrating REST APIs with SSO solutions (e.g., OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML) and managing secure authentication tokens.
  • Familiarity with implementing role-based access control (RBAC) and conditional feature rendering.
  • Hands-on experience with internationalization tools (e.g., i18next, react-intl).
  • Theming experience, including dynamic style switching between dark/light modes.
  • Proficient with component libraries like Material UI (MUI), PrimeReact, Ant Design, Chakra UI, or similar.
  • Experience writing automated unit and integration tests; knowledge of test-driven development is a plus.
  • Strong Git knowledge and experience with modern workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews).
  • Comfortable working with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or Parcel.
  • Understanding of accessibility (WCAG), ARIA roles, and screen reader compatibility.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience integrating and troubleshooting enterprise SSO systems using protocols like OAuth2, OpenID Connect, or SAML.
  • Experience with mobile-optimized web apps, Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), or hybrid mobile frameworks (e.g., React Native, Capacitor).
  • Familiarity with micro frontend architecture or modular front-end designs.
  • Exposure to real-time and push technologies (e.g., WebSockets, Server-Sent Events).
  • Experience working with monorepos using Nx, Turborepo, or Yarn Workspaces.
  • Knowledge of GraphQL and Apollo Client or Relay.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
  • Exposure to monitoring and observability tools for front-end apps (e.g., Sentry, LogRocket, Datadog RUM).
  • Experience working closely with design teams and implementing UIs from tools like Figma or Zeplin.
  • Understanding of service workers, offline caching, and performance optimization for mobile users.
  • Prior experience working in regulated industries or with enterprise security constraints is a plus.

  • A competitive pay range of $90,000 - $110,000 annual salary (depending on experience)
