Job Description

InGenesis is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to work with our client. In this role, you will perform nutrition screening/assessment, diet counseling for patients.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide nutritional screening and assessments of patients for appropriate nutrition intervention.
• In accordance with physician orders, develop individualized nutrition care plans based on patient’s age, sex, diagnosis, cultural background, preferences, and religious practices.
• Assist is developing meal plans to meet patient’s lifestyle.
• Provide appropriate nutritional education and counseling based upon patient/family learning needs and abilities.
• Reviews current literature and resources for relevance to contribute to changes and improvements.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required in food and/or nutritional science/
• Registered Dietitian with a license/certification in the current state of practice.
• 1 year of experience in clinical nutrition as a registered dietitian.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Bilingual, Spanish speaking preferred.

This position is dependent on contract award.
