Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical assignment in Saratoga Springs, NY. This position offers night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The nurse will be responsible for providing care in a dynamic and fast-paced Med Surg unit.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients on the Med Surg unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rates.
• Assist with daily activities of living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding as needed.
• Provide wound care, catheter care, and other clinical procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions for any changes and report to the appropriate healthcare team members.

Requirements:

Licensure:

• New York RN License required

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital nursing experience and prior travel nursing experience

Certifications:

• BLS required, ACLS preferred

Float Policy:

• Must be willing to float to other units as needed at the manager's discretion based on skill set
