About the Role:

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Social Media Assistant to join our team. In this remote position, you will play a vital role in enhancing our travel business by engaging audiences, supporting clients, and managing travel bookings. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about travel, customer service, and social media.

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management: Design and execute creative social media strategies to build brand visibility, engage with followers, and drive traffic. This includes crafting engaging content and actively managing online communities.
  • Travel Coordination: Assist clients with their travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, car rentals, and activities.
  • Customer Support: Deliver outstanding customer service via phone, email, and chat by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately maintain booking records, payments, and client interactions in our CRM system.
  • Expert Travel Guidance: Provide knowledgeable recommendations on destinations, itineraries, and travel insurance options tailored to client needs.
  • Problem Resolution: Handle unexpected travel issues such as flight changes or cancellations with efficiency and professionalism, ensuring clients have a stress-free experience.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in customer service or the travel industry is required.
  • Skills: Strong communication (both verbal and written), excellent customer service, and proficiency with travel booking tools and CRM systems.
  • Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a remote work environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, to meet client needs.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certification in travel and tourism is a plus.
