Job Description
The Rental Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the golf cart rental business. They are responsible for managing rental inventory, coordinating reservations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing rental revenue. The Rental Manager will also supervise rental staff and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the golf cart rental business, including rental fleet management, maintenance, and logistics.
- Monitor and manage rental inventory, ensuring an adequate supply of golf carts for reservations and minimizing downtime.
- Develop and implement rental policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Handle customer inquiries, reservations, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Resolve customer issues or concerns effectively and ensure a positive rental experience.
- Coordinate and manage golf cart rental reservations, including processing bookings, assigning carts, and scheduling pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Maintain accurate rental records, ensuring proper documentation and payment processing.
- Implement a reservation system or software to streamline reservation management processes.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure a high level of customer service and operational efficiency.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to rental staff.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to attract customers and maximize rental revenue.
- Participate in promotional activities and events to increase awareness and generate rental leads.
- Analyze rental trends and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and market expansion.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines in rental operations.
- Implement safety protocols and provide training to rental staff on safe operation and maintenance of golf carts.
- Regularly inspect rental equipment for safety and maintenance purposes.
- Monitor and manage rental revenue, expenses, and budget.
- Implement pricing strategies to maximize rental profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
- Prepare financial reports, analyze performance metrics, and make recommendations for improving rental operations.
- Implement inventory control processes to track and manage rental equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs of rental fleet to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule routine inspections, services, and repairs.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, sales, and administration, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate and coordinate with golf course management, event organizers, and other stakeholders as necessary.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
Pay: Based on experience.
